Brent Compton MD, DC, FACP
Dr. Brent Compton is a lifelong local of Central Florida and grew up watching The Villages and Ocala become the communities they are today. Since graduating Leesburg High School he has been committed to higher education. He graduated The University of Central Florida and then following in his father’s footsteps he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree (D.C) from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic. After joining his father in practice Dr. Compton decided to pursue his MD degree in order to further facilitate musculoskeletal healthcare coverage in his home town. He completed medical school and ultimately residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship training in Interventional pain management in Texas.Dr. Compton was recognized as a Chief Resident and Chief Fellow during his training. His ability to evaluate and treat a patient from three unique perspectives (Chiropractor, Internal medicine and interventional pain specialist) simultaneously allows his patients to have full access to quality care ranging from conservative treatments to interventional/surgical options. Dr. Compton explains, “the best treatment for a patient, regardless of the complaint, is the most conservative effective therapy possible but only after a thorough and proper diagnosis. Depending on the patient’s needs and medical history we look to achieve this goal with home exercise, physical therapy, chiropractic care, medication management, numerous interventional pain procedure options such as injections, ablations and up to minimally invasive surgical options. Often it is a combination of various treatment options that will yield the best results. Our primary focus is to return our patients to a functional lifestyle with minimal to no pain.”
