- Moved to the Villages Fl 3 + years ago. Did research and found Compton Chiropractic to meet my current chiropractic needs. Believe me after moving across the United States you need a dependable and caring chiropractor. The office has a friendly staff and Doctors that are personable and I trust their decisions for my chiropractic care. On occasionsI had to have several treatments b/4 I felt the results . - I have been being treated by Dr. Brett Compton since we moved to Florida. He is very knowledgeable. The practice continues to grow. His son, Brent, is also a chiropractor and is working to complete his medical training. Dr. Taylor is also a chiropractor in the practice. - Nice staff and seemingly very proficient Doctor. Time will tell but Brent seems to have a viable plan with my issue of sciatica. Excellent review of my latest MRI and initial exam. - These guys are absolutely fabulous! I’ve been to two other chiropractors in the last four months and I’ve gotten no relief. I was referred to Compton Chiropractic by a couple of friends who raved about their experience there. I can now say they were very accurate in their assessment. Tremendous staff and doctors really care about how you feel. I’m feeling much better now and will continue to use Compton for any further Chiropractic needs. - Highly recommended team of chiropractic physicians. You will get good advice to manage your symptoms and all questions or concerns will be addressed. The facility is spotless and the support staff is very pleasant and helpful. I have been getting excellent chiropractic care for over 15 years and Brett Compton is equal to the best. I have recurring pain from a severe auto accident 40 years ago which caused osteoarthriis in my back and my neck. Without chiropractice care I would have been on pain prescriptions and I would not be able to rotate my head or bend over. I only go for an adjustment of my spine when my pain gets annoying. - I am 44 yrs old and suffering multiple back and neck problems to the point that I have been unable to work for the past few years. I recently had sciatica from stenosis, facet joint and disc problems for over 9 mons and was walking with a walker. Epidural injections and medications weren't working. I started seeing Dr. Dan Taylor at Compton and within a week or so... I'm walking without a walker!! A couple weeks later, the pain down my leg was GONE! He is also helping my neck which was almost completely locked up and unable to move to the right. I have severe issues, and I can tell you that he is VERY GENTLE, YET VERY EFFECTIVE. He also has excellent bedside manner, listens well and offers suggestions. I worked a an RN in ICU for over 15 years, and I am impressed with his knowledge, not just of chiropractic, but other medical related issues. In addition, all the staff from the front door to the technicians, are very friendly and efficient, and always aimto be sure your needs are met. I can say I have seen this good quality of care at very few medical offices... I can't say enough about them, other than that I have COMPLETE TRUST in what they do & to HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!!- yvonne vincent. 7/8/2018
- Lori, Thank you for your post. It is only through feedback that we are able to improve our office and practice to the highest level of patient satisfaction. It is unfortunate that our office suffers negative reviews because of billing issues which are typically not within our control but rather we are held to information provided to us by the insurance companies. I have researched your account and found it has been 2 years since you were last seen and I hope you are doing well. My records indicate that you were treated with good results and had a final balance of $238 which was for your initial evaluation. I have also researched why this unfortunate event happened to you and I have to apologize for the inconvenience of the situation. Unfortunately in 2015-2016, your insurance switched its chiropractic benefits from being managed by Florida Blue to a company by the name of American Specialty Health (ASH). While my office was and still is in-network with Blue Cross we have been unable to reconcile differences with ASH. At the time you were seen and benefits were delivered we simply relayed to you what Blue Cross told us over the phone and we have a signed insurance verification stating you are correct. Sadly at that time Florida Blue was still updating their systems for the transition and they would have certainly given you the very same information. I am very sorry this event occurred and my office has since taken steps with Blue Cross and the State of Florida's Insurance Regulation Department to assure these events do not reoccur. – Dr. Compton- Compton Chiro. 6/11/2018
- The staff is always friendly and willing to assist the patient. Mr. Compton is very good with his patients. He is personable, listens to his patients concerns and does a great job with his adjustments. He always asks how you feel before leaving the room to make sure he has addressed his patient's issues. - All of a sudden, I had severe pain in my lower back and could not get up out of a chair or walk without assistance. I called the Compton Chiropractic Care and immediately got in. After the second visit, I was able to get up out of a chair alone. After the third visit, my pain was gone and I only had discomfort which would go away with heat. Dr. Jeffrey Eyerly is new to the practice and did an outstanding job of carefully explaining what he was going to do and the results he expected which were right on. - I live in the Villages and for the past 8 years I've been to at least a dozen chiropractors and never got relief. At a friend's suggestion I went to Compton and saw Dr. Taylor. I have been pain free for over a year now. My pain was so bad that I had to hold on to the wall when I walked. Dr. Taylor knew exactly what my problem was and he "fixed it". Compton is a traditional chiropractic office with total hands on. They don't put you in a massage chair and that's it. Dr. Taylor takes his time, he listens and always knows where the problem is before I show him. I highly recommend Compton. - I was in terrible pain!! The doctor diagnosed the problem and found a potentially dangerous nerve problem. I had an MRI to be sure that the diagnosis was correct, but before I left they did therapy and an adjustment that decreased my pain by 80%%! I had therapy and adjustment less than 10 times and the pain was GONE. It has been more than two months and I feel great.- Patricia Vosnak. 6/11/2017
